![]() ![]() Unfortunately there is no adjustment for the brightness on the display.So, long story short … the wire nut connections on the main power feed to her oven were corroded … a few seconds after pressing “start” the bake relay kicked on and drew high current causing the control board voltage to droop. We determined that her entire display was dimming when the voltage to the control board dropped. The repair cost for this job is $200+ tax inclusive of parts and labor. I've found that unplugging it there and plugging it back in will make it bright again. There's a black harness that goes to control board. gcs summer camp You have to turn off power to range, remove bullnose and get to back of display. Take out the display unit from your oven, unscrewing any screws securing it within the oven. Unplug the oven from its power source and remove the front plate holding the display in place. ![]()
